Day 1 Peru incentive program
Arrival at the hotel and welcome reception
followed by dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 Peru
incentive program
As the old capital of the Viceroyalty of
Peru, Lima
retains a lot of its colonial spirit. Today we will visit its
Historic Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We will also see the Aliaga mansion, which is
inhabited today by descendents of the original proprietor, Don
Jeronimo de Aliaga, one of the first Spanish conquistadors to
arrive in
Peru. We will also visit a spectacular
colonial convent. The Aliaga mansion visit is exclusive to
PeruDMC. Lunch at the Rosa Nautica, a Victorian-style restaurant
on the sea shore, where a passion for good food and the harmony
of the waves combine to provide a unique and unforgettable
spectacle. Special dinner in the “Huaca Pucllana" restaurant,
which specialises in Peruvian cuisine using a great variety of
products: fish, shellfish and vegetables. This restaurant is
located in the modern district of Miraflores and is a replica of
an old hacienda, which has a view over a ceremonial centre
dating from the 5th Century AD.
Day 3 Peru incentive program
Arrival at the hotel in Cusco
and welcome reception. Tour of Cusco
, which is full of Inca architecture designed for religious,
administrative, military and domestic use. Cusco
's colonial Spanish monuments are among the wealthiest and most
luxurious in the
Andes. In the evening we will dine in a restaurant
specialising in nouvelle-Andean cuisine, accompanied by Andean
music.
Day 4 Peru incentive program
We have to spend a day in this beautiful
valley
of
Urubamba. The valley contains villages and
archaeological relics, such as Ollantaytambo, which contains a
fort built as defence against the invading Chankas.
Ollantaytambo also contains an Inca village whose stone houses
are still inhabited by descendents of ancient Peruvians. Lunch
will be at the Orihuela estate, situated on a rise in the
valley. The house was built by the Lambarri Orihuela family to
house and display the family's valuable collection of
pre-Colombian and viceregal art. After lunch we will return to
Cusco. Gala dinner in
the evening
Day 5
Peru incentive program
Today we will visit one of the world's most
impressive attractions,
Machu Picchu
, a masterpiece of Inca architecture and built in perfect harmony
with nature. We will go by Orient Express/PeruRail train from
Cusco
to Machu Picchu, the scenery is spectacular
and the train has an observation car. The three and a half hour
journey takes us through astonishing countryside. We lunch at
Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, the only hotel located next to the
sanctuary. In the afternoon we board the train that will take us
back to Cusco. Dinner

Day 6
Peru incentive program
On arrival in Lima
we will visit the Mamacona hacienda, the property of a Peruvian
family whose passion is the breeding of paso horses.
We will enjoy the spectacle of the paso horses
themselves, and a buffet lunch in a country setting, accompanied
by a display of folk dances. Afterwards, anyone who wants to do
so can take a ride on one of these beautiful animals.
