Day 01: Costa Rica Incentive program

San Jose - arrival Arrival to Juan Santa Maria International Airport and guided transfer by deluxe motor coach to the Costa Rica Marriott hotel (transfer duration: 10 minutes approximately). 

The Central Valley has a dry season from December to May and the heaviest of the rains fall between August and October. It should be noted that even in the dry season there are some rains, being that the country lies in the tropical zone of the planet. The average temperature is approximately 20oC (70oF) and can descend to 10oC (50oF) in the highlands. For those seeking a tranquil environment near the capital, or those who prefer to enjoy of the advantages of a city style vacation, the central valley offers a great variety of alternatives in lodging, sites of interests to tourists, natural attractions, restaurants and nightlife.

Hotel description: Set in the splendor of a 30 acre coffee plantation, five minutes from the Juan Santa Maria International Airport and only 15 minutes from the center of San José. Day 02: Costa Rica Incentive program

San José to Tortuguero Breakfast at Costa Rica Marriott hotel included

Guided transfer by deluxe motor coach to the domestic airport in order to take charter flight from San Josè to Tortuguero (transfer duration: 20 minutes approximately).

Charter flight to Tortuguero (using Twin Otter planes - flight duration: 30 minutes approximately). Boat transfer from Tortuguero Air strip to Mawamba Lodge hotel- (transfer duration: 5 minutes approximately). Enjoy a delicious Lunch at Mawamba Lodge. After lunch, you will visit the museum, the beach area an the small and picturesque town of tourtuguero. Visit the Caribbean Conservation Corporation Museum and the village. Return by boat to lodge for free time, enjoy pool area and surroundings. Meet at conference room for slide show presentation on Tortuguero area, wildlife and activities. Dinner at lodge.

Days 02 to 03 Costa Rica Incentive program

Hotel Description This magical hotel is in Tortuguero, where the landscape becomes the best host to show you the most important natural wonders of the region. This hotel has 36 comfortable rooms with private baths, fans, hot water and rocking chairs. The facilities offered are: a family style restaurant, bar, swimming pool, a BBQ ranch and conference room. Entrance fee to the Tortuguero National Park is not included in the packages offered by the hotel.

Tortuguero National Park: Exuberant, paradisiac, mystical.. a natural network of scenic and navigable waterways. One of the most exotic and beautiful region of Costa Rica, rich in flora and fauna. Tortuguero is one of the wilderness areas in Costa Rica, with the greatest biological variety. 11 habitats had been identified, such as 2000 species of plants and 400 species of trees. There is also a very wide wildlife variety: 57 species of amphibians 111 species of reptiles 309 species of birds recorded 30 species of fresh water fish, included the Gar, considered to be a living fossil 60 species of mammals 

Day 03: Costa Rica Incentive program

Tortuguero to Rincòn de La Vieja Meet for coffee & crackers at the Entertainment room Morning boat tour through the Tortuguero Canals or hikes into the lush rain forest of the National Park area, in which nature lovers can observe the virgin forest, many species of birds, mammals and reptiles. For the most adventurous, hiking to the Tortuguero Hill is a must. All of the boats doing trips in the smaller canals, are equipped with electric engines, for a maximum enjoyment of nature. Return for breakfast at the lodge Meet at docks for return boat ride to Tortuguero Air strip. Charter flight from Tortuguero to Liberia City. (flight duration: one hour approximately), Private transfer from Liberia Airport to Rincon de la Vieja in Guanacaste province (transfer duration: one hour approximately).

Day 04: Costa Rica Incentive program

Rincon de la Vieja to Tamarindo beach

Private transfer from Rincòn de la Vieja to Tamarindo beach in Guanacaste (transfer duration: 2 hours approximately).

Description of Guanacaste province (where Rincon de la Vieja and Tamarindo beach are located): The province of Guanacaste encompasses dry, wet and very humid forests, including the protected areas of the few remnants of the tropical dry forests which once extended from Mexico along all the Pacific coast, and which today has practically disappeared from the Mesoamerican scenery. The region of the north Pacific is a land of beautiful landscapes made up of bays, gulfs, hills splattered with forests and cliffs, panoramic routes, volcanoes, wild rivers, beautiful beaches of gray, fine dark, white and golden sands bathed by a blue sea of clear waters, rich in fishes and seashore birds, with mainly of gentle waves. The climate is very hot and dry during the summer, which tends to extend from December to April, and hot and humid during the rest of the year. The average annual temperature is 27,5ºC. Guanacaste is blessed with landscapes of plains and dusty dry coast from January to April and very green and wet during the rainy season. In this idyllic region the positive energy of the radiant sun, which shines long hours of the day, combines with the hot temperatures, inviting you to enjoy the warm waters and the blue sea. Day 05: Costa Rica Incentive program

The optional activities at Tamarindo Beach are:

Palo Verde National Park - Tempisque River: Paradise for bird watchers! Visit one of the parks with the largest variety of habitats with mangroves, swamp forests, swamps, and both fresh and salt water lagoons. Take a two and a half hour boat ride on the Tempisque River, one the most important of the province of Guanacaste. A huge variety of birds can be admired along the course. Lunch and entrance fee included.

Los Inocentes Hacienda: Travel across the plains of Guanacaste to the Los Inocentes Hacienda, a traditional ranch where you will find a house built completely of fine native woods such as mahogany, rosewood and stinking toe. Take a two and a half hour horseback ride up the slopes of the Orosi Volcano where you will see monkeys, birds, and different mammals of the region. Lunch included.

Arenal Volcano and hot springs: Experience the majesty of the imposing Arenal Volcano. After a five hour trip around the edge of the Arenal Lake, you will have the option of a short walk to the La Fortuna waterfall or in the rain forest. Then enjoy the hot springs of the area. Lunch and dinner included. Corobicí River Floating: Take a two hour boat ride on one the most tranquil rivers of the region (categories I and II), admiring the incredible birds. Some of the birds you may see during the trip are Great Egrets, Tricolored Herons and Boobies. The tropical flora along the river completes this unique and unforgettable tour. Lunch included. Shopping tour in Guaitil, Santa Cruz and Liberia: For those who like to go shopping, the towns of Guaitil, Santa Rosa and Liberia are typical and good places to find souvernirs, clothing, and gifts for those who were left home. Day 06: Costa Rica Incentive program

Tamarindo beach to San Jose

Charter flight from Tamarindo to San Jose (duration: 50 minutes approximately).
